SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

20 years of teaching experience, has taught me the importance of building relationships with students, organizing a classroom, creating dynamic cross curricular lessons and collaborating with teachers, parents and administration.  I have had the pleasure of teaching at both the middle and high school level and I am proud that I can work with students of various grade levels, cognitive abilities, skill and socioeconomic levels in one classroom by building a culture of acceptance and collaboration.  As an art educator I want all of my students to be visually literate, critical thinkers and global citizens with grit.
